September 7th was the Pet Parade in Charlotte, NC at Freedom Park. There I helped out at the ESRA booth and socialized Topher. As you can see he is beat as were the rest of the dogs that were there to sport their breed!!
Taz, Barney, and Patch were all there looking for homes. You can visit the ESRA to read more about them or fill out an application to adopt. Taz played frisbee for hours on end and the foster home said that he was worn out. This 8 month old puppy has so much energy its amazing!! He is also a great frisbee catcher and is getting the idea of fetching. Patch is 1-1 1/2 and loved to catch the ball!! Barney is a 10 year old who loves everyone. He still has some energy and is the sweetest thing! If you are interested in any of these dogs please fill out an application.
The painting is for sale and all the profit will go to the ESRA. It was hand painted by Dian Haney (webpage under construction). It is oil painted. She will also do a custom painting of your dog, cat, or pet. 60% of the profit will go to ESRA and the rest will go to Dian for supplies.
Members of the ESRA that were there to help brought along their dogs. A group picture is coming soon.
